How did the campus and buildings of Rutgers today come to be?
This talk explores the evolution of the College Avenue Campus, the historic core of Rutgers University, tracing its journey from the construction of Old Queens in 1809 to today. Through over 380 images, we examine ten phases of development, highlighting changes in buildings, grounds, and layouts. Featuring over 65 iconic structures, we’ll detail how these buildings originally appeared versus their current state.
